I was lucky enough to catch Flame Pilots at The Four Horseshoes pub in Graveney over the weekend. Great gig. Make sure you vote for them at You Say They Play to vote them onto the main stage at this year’s Lounge On The Farm festival.

Sounding like Seasick Steve on steroids and looking like one half of Daft Punk busking, Bob Log III rolled into Canterbury last night and blew the assembled throng at The Farmhouse out into the Weald. Part shaman, part showman and resplendent in gold lame jump suit and fighter pilot helmet his blend [...]
I’m due to go and see Bob Log III at The Farmhouse in Canterbury tomorrow night and I’m hoping to be able to shoot some video and record some audio for my music show. Keep an eye on Qik and AudioBoo…

Switching from an N95 to an iPhone I lost the ability to shoot video. Not exactly a great loss since I wasn’t exactly prolific on the video front. I also discovered the ability to quickly and easily make audio podcasts using AudioBoo which naturally felt much more comfortable. But I still hanker after video now [...]
I’m testing a new iPhone-based audio blogging podcasting service called AudioBoo. My page of Boo’s is here. So far, so good.
The only problem is that this blog on WordPress.com doesn’t embed flash widgets so I’ve had to dig into the AudioBoo source code to find the link to the original mp3 file which will hopefully [...]
TechCrunch were spot on when comparing Kutiman’s latest project Thru-You to DJ Shadow’s work particularly 1996’s Entroducing. Essentially a music mix using YouTube footage instead of vinyl or mp3s. Simply wonderful. Enjoy.
The opening track (below) Mother Of All Funk Chords.

We go back along way me and Britain’s once all powerful and monopolistic telecoms provider. We’ve had our ups and downs. No, let’s be honest, mostly downs. But that might all be about to change.
Last week I had the pleasure of spending an evening with JP Rangaswami and his team at BT Design who are [...]
I’m currently testing an, as yet, unreleased social network aggregation app for the iPhone called Zensify which aims to do what I have always wanted a social aggregator to do – pipe all my social network updates into one stream.
So far so good. It’s behaving just like a beta should. It crashes often, features are [...]

…but it ain’t exactly clear.
Firstly, The Nick Reynolds Show has moved to http://nickreynolds.net.
Secondly, er that’s it. I’m keeping this domain free for a very exciting potential project which probably won’t kick off for a few weeks yet, if at all.
Stay tuned.
